On this site you'll find information about Christchurch, and other things like maps and directions so you can  find us. And, although it's impossible to replicate the warmth of worship among friendly people on a web site. you'll find here a hint of what you'll find when you visit.

If you haven't checked out an actual Christchurch worship service, yet, you may be in for a bit of a surprise. We can understand. Many of us, including this writer, came just once, not knowing quite what to expect and found, to our surprise,  that it was exactly what we'd always been looking for -- and so very much more. We just didn't know it existed until we found it! For some of us, it was an entire lifetime of searching. "If only we'd known about this church earlier ..."  is a shared refrain among many of us who are now members. Interesting, isn't it, how when you find something pretty good you want to keep it -- but when it's something  truly good, you want to share it? We want to share what we've found here with you.

Unique -- but solid in finding New Life in the Historic Faith of Jesus Christ

Christchurch is different -- but plesantly so. And, in theology, we're not very different at all. We're Protestant, we have the same beliefs, the same Bible and the same songs -- and as our rector says: when it comes to preaching  "It's Jesus, Jesus, Jesus."  That sums up what we're all about.

 If you've already visited with us, we hope you'll come back because we're sure some of us didn't get to meet you the first time -- and we want to!

Get to know us better at one of our covered-dish dinners
Sundays are always a bit tightly scheduled and we realize it's difficult to really get to know people then. If you would like to have time to talk with a lot of us, including our clergy, in a relaxed setting, ask about attending one of our informal, parish-wide Holy Chow covered-dish dinners. This is a  wonderful time to socialize, ask us questions and for us to get to know one another.
