As Christians, we all know the deep truth and the beauty of the phrase: "It is in giving that we receive." One way we've found of  tapping into the rejuvenating nourishment of faith is by helping others.

 

Many parishioners give of their time, their talents and their treasure to further the message of Jesus Christ.

When given the opportunity, we try to remember to thank them for their service and all the good things they do - many of which we all benefit from. But, perhaps an even better way to thank them is to offer to volunteer and work beside them.

 

If you see an activity that you think you'd be interested in becoming involved in, please, don't hesitate to contact the leader of that ministry and let them know.

 

There are lots of things to be done as we build this new parish and in the years to come.  We may all look back and say that these were some of the very best years because we were working together, getting to know one another, and laying the foundation for something so much greater than ourselves.
